Illuminating Concepts, the longtime Farmington Hills-based lighting and multimedia design company, seeks to use a new brand to tap into the push toward “smart cities.” It has formed Intellistreets, with a focus on making the streetlight the linchpin through which cities can gather their data, according to Ron Harwood, founder and CEO.
