Liberty Park is an exceptional example of how a city leverages Intellistreets® features. This park began as an outdoor amphitheater for several thousand residents. Intellistreets® was asked to provide both wireless music and announcements, as well as sufficient sound support for bands using the CPS (Concealed Placement Speaker) concealed in the base of the light pole. Security cameras are concealed within the pole, with only a small lens appearing if one looks hard for it. Public Wi-Fi is also concealed within the pole, as are the antennas.
The park is so successful that a phase two effort provided illuminated paths in the woods and across a stream that lead to a covered competition-style basketball court. A unique playscape provides hours of entertainment, illuminated for summer fun at night.
